I don't usually write these, but this is a special occasion.
Wow. Where do I start? I cried when Thor died; I'm so going to miss that little guy!!! This episode was great, the writers did a wonderful job honoring the characters. My favorite scene is with everyone together eating and laughing, and the Christmas scene. They're so happy together, even if they are stuck in the middle of a time-dilation field. It doesn't matter. They're a family. (Not to mention the fact that that scene so reminded me of Farscape!) Of course, my little shipper self loved the Daniel/Vala. I was about ready to kick Daniel, though, when he started in on that rant. I've always loved him, but that was...mean. Okay, yeah, he's stuck out there and...well, grumpy. I would be too. He's just usually so much better at being sensitive. And the song Sam plays is just so heartwrenching and beautiful. I love the brief Teal'c/Sam moment too. I've always loved their friendship and I wish we could've seen more scenes like that with them. I knew Teal'c would be the one to stay behind too.
And now, to finish off this fangirlish ramble--that last scene was perfect. Walter counting down the chevrons, just like old times. The team together, rehearsing sayings. Made me think of that first scene in Urgo. I loved their "Indeed", the way they all said it together was perfect. And Landry's no Hammond, but he did a good job as the General. Oooooohhhh, I'm gonna miss 'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Frell stupid networks.
Anyway. I didn't feel let down by this at all. I just wish Jack had been in it too.
And now, favorite scenes in caps. Quality is terrible, sorry.
THOR! *cries*

My happy Farscape family moment. ^_^

Christmastime! I love my team. *sigh*

The family together. Indeed.

And there they go, off to save the galaxy as usual.
